Lutheran Renewal is building a network of pastors and others seeking spiritual life and encouragement within the Canadian context and with a Lutheran perspective. Our dream and challenge is to be used of God in this country.

is Apostolic in nature in that it embraces:

• the Evangelical nature of the church
  
• the Sacramental nature of the church
  
• the Charismatic nature of the church
  
• the Liturgical nature of the church
  

Purpose...

The purpose of Lutheran Renewal Canada is to sponsor activities and programs
which foster the spiritual renewal and strengthening of personal faith, and
of church life within the context of the Lutheran heritage and "for the
building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the
faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, and to mature manhood, to the
measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". This will be accomplished
through activities consistent with the principles of the Holy Bibles and the
historic Christian faith such as:

• Organizing or participating in seminars, conferences, retreats, workshops, or other Christian or educational programs.
• Initiating or supporting research projects, education, counseling services, church, or church related programs.
• Creating or distributing appropriate literature or educational materials;
  
• Fostering supportive relations between and among pastors and congregationscommitted to spiritual renewal.
